Us
The Raccoon Group is a Multi Award Winning large format graphic and
display company, based in Edenbridge, Kent.
Established
in 1992, we have been at the forefront of the vehicle branding industry
for more than a decade, and have been one of the pioneers of vehicle
wrapping. Working closely with the main manufacturers of materials,
inks and digital print equipment, we have built up a vast databank of
knowledge, which enables us to succeed where our competitors have failed,
and it is our experience that makes us stand out from the crowd.
At the heart of our success is the continuous investment in both the
latest production equipment and our highly committed staff. Coupled
with this is our ‘never say no’ attitude which gives us
a competitive edge in the fast moving vehicle branding industry. Our
attention to detail, structured planning and management of even the
largest vehicle fleet re-branding projects, has helped us to grow into
one of the leading vehicle graphics company’s within the UK.
Way back in 2001 our complete wrap of a double decker bus helped us
to win a national award at the 2002
Mactac Awards. Most recently we have won the ‘Best Vehicle
Livery’ award at the 2004 and 2005 Sign Industry Awards. Confirmation
of our ability to both innovate and deliver at the same time.
Unlike many of our competitors, our business is built on three vital
components, our comprehensive in-house graphics production facility,
our project management and planning abilities, and our nationwide network
of experienced and accredited graphic application teams.
Project
Management
At the heart of any successful vehicle branding project is planning
and execution. Vehicle downtime for any company can be both costly and
time consuming. The first thing we demand is that a clear communication
path is established between Raccoon and its client, to ensure a smooth
and trouble free programme. A comprehensive project schedule is then
developed, to ensure vehicles are fitted on time, with the minimum of
trouble to the client.
Another important aspect that is quite often forgotten at the outset
is the maintenance of a vehicle’s branding. This is where Raccoon
come into their own. We have developed a unique ‘on-line’
vehicle branding maintenance system, where fleet and transport managers
can quickly and efficiently order additional decals for repaired and
damaged vehicles, or complete graphic kits for new vehicles entering

Production
All graphic production is carried out at our Edenbridge factory, enabling
us to keep control of both quality and lead times. With an investment
level of over £1,000,000 during the past five years, we now have
a comprehensive graphics production facility, which enables us to quickly
and efficiently produce the highest quality of graphics, quickly. We
operate the latest digital printing systems, and have a fully automated,
computer controlled finishing department, which ensures consistent results,
again and again.
Application
Our team of skilled and trained fitters carry out all vehicle wraps
and livery applications. Every individual has been on training courses
provided by the main material suppliers, and are familiar with the handling
and application of the latest films and self-adhesive vinyls. Attention
to detail comes as standard. Keeping control of the whole production
process ensures we eliminate the problem of ‘graphic failure’,
where the graphics have not been produced and/or fitted correctly. What
makes Raccoon stand out is our ability to get it right First Time. Vehicle
graphics failure can become a huge, costly and inconvenient problem
for everybody involved. Our aim is remove this problem from the equation.
